For those of you who couldn't remember their history classes (like , umm, me) the parallels between Harding and Bush are striking.
- Once in office, Harding admitted to his close friends that the job was beyond him. (I wonder who Bush has admitted this to?)
- He allowed Andrew Mellon to push through tax cuts for the rich. (No comment needed here)
- Most historians regard Harding as the worst President in the nation's history. (HA!)
- Here is an article comparing Harding's administration and oil companies with Bush's administration and Enron.
